Dear Parents/Gurdians,

In Religion and Values, students have been learning about Allah (S.W.T), our Prophet Muhammad’s (S.A.W) life including his childhood, attributes of his personality, his companions and the battles that Muslims fought against polytheists. The Foundation students are learning about eating etiquette e.g. when to say Bismillah and Alhamdulillah, how we wash our hands first, help our mother to set the table, sit down and say Bismillah, wait for our parents to start first. When we finish say Alhamdulillah, pack the dishes away and wash our hands and mouth etc. Grade 1 students are learning about Young Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W) e.g. what was Prophet Muhammad’s first job? how did Prophet Muhammad treat other people? How did Prophet Muhammad treat animals? They are also learning how to perform 5 daily prayers. Grade 2 & 3 students are learning about Allah’s special people, “Our Prophets” and special creation “Angels”. Grade 5 students have been learning about faith which includes belief in Allah, angels, prophets, divine books, hereafter and destiny. Grade 6 students are learning about different battles that Muslims fought against polytheists e.g. battle of Badar, Uhud & Handaq.
